Hey All!
Welcome to my writing desk here on the Internet. I don't always pay attention to this sidebar, but today my eyes happened to stray across it and I realized how out of date it is. So, let me take a moment to do a better job of explaining me.
Whew! This is not going to be easy! No one is a simple blurb. I am, as you are, much more complicated than that. However, just by way of introduction I'll give it a shot.
My name is Michael and I am a writer. It sure sounds good to say that. Currently I am also the founder of the Piney Woods Writers Group in Huntsville, Texas and on Facebook. I am also a retired public school teacher of many subjects, but mostly English and History over the years. I planted and pastored a church for 11 years. And though I am "retired" I am currently a tech support person at a small MSP company in my home town AND a real estate agent.

As far as me as a writer, I have been dabbling in writing for a very, very long time. I have written much, but published little. I'd like to say it is because I've tried hard to get someone to publish my writing, but my efforts in that direction have been half-hearted. I'm hoping my fellow writers group members will help push me past my self-imposed limitations when it comes to finishing the work and getting it out there.
In the meantime, this site is a place to host some of the material I've created. I hope you enjoy what you read. I welcome your comments, so please, don't keep it to yourself. Be gentle. Be firm.
